Established in 1955

CPI started producing live theatrical performances in 1955. Since then, we have staged hundreds of quality performances at various venues throughout the oil region. CPI continues to mount a number of shows every year ranging from musicals to straight plays.

Our Mission

CPI produces quality entertainment for the continued cultural enhancement of the oil region. We encourage teamwork and a sense of community by providing an avenue for individuals to explore and develop their talents in all aspects of live theatre. With the purchase and ongoing refurbishment of the Lyric Theatre, CPI stands strong in its commitment to helping revitalize downtown Oil City.
